CVILIS evaluates civil society practices with a system based on the European Grant Management Capacity for Non-Governmentals (“EuroGMC”) criteria, and embraces the following goals during the assessment and rating process of NGOs:

• to provide an assurance to donors and funders that funded NGOs comply with law and best practices such that their funds are efficiently used towards the intended mission
• to strengthen the infrastructure of NGOs, and promote best practices through evaluation of compliance with a unified set of corporate governance standards
• to save NGOs in order to make them avoid the administrative penalty risks.
